Just look for the Jam Factory on Chapel Street; its directly opposite that!
Thats how I found AMBA, a 5 month old South Yarra cafe that is best described as warm and chic, with a stylish interior. The atmosphere is as poised as the cafes design, which is dominated by gold features, white washed brick walls, warm lighting, and Scandinavian style furnishings.
The menu features modern Australian breakfast and lunch options, such as Smashed Avo, Mixed Berries French Crepes, Eggs Piperade, and a Breakfast Burger with a has brown. Lunch starts at 11:30am, and ranges from Lemon Pepper Calamari, to Penne Garlic Chicken.
Coffee is from Seven Seeds, and Small Batch, with both espresso and filter options. I opted for a long black of the Seven Seeds Colombian ‘Edmundo Toro’. This washed Caturra/Colombia was grown in Brisas, Pitalito, and had sweet caramel tones, with plum highlights.
