Thomas Kelly has launched the 4th “Standing Room” coffee bar in Melbourne Central. It’s been open since June 8th, and serves Five Senses coffee 7 days a week, with extended hours week days which see the Synesso MVP pumping out espresso until 7pm. This small space serves both espresso and batch brew, and has proficient latte artists sharing their creativity with commuters and students alike. Much like its sister standing room only coffee bars at Melbourne University, and Caulfield University, this space is fresh, crisp, and functional.
There’s no kitchen, but they do stock freshly baked pastries from Noisette, Cookie sandwiches from Butterbing, and individual cakes from the Premises .
In the Mythos One hopper is the Dark Horse blend from Five Senses, which is made up of beans from Nicaragua, Colombia, and Sumatra. It offers a complex cup with dark chocolate flavors, both with or without milk. The batch brew is made using a washed Ethiopian known as the Yirgzero. This zero defect offering, delivers a filter coffee with a floral aroma, and juicy peach flavours.
