Assembly opened in Collingwood at the end of June, and I only just got a chance to check out their new space.
Much like the Carlton venue, it’s all about coffee and tea in this converted warehouse space, with the odd pastry and sweet treat. It has a really laid back feel, with lots of potted greenery.
Coffee is from Mecca, with both a season blend and single origin. I had the Ethiopian Beriti as a long black. This coffee is from the Yirgacheffe region, and was grown at over 2000 meters above sea level. My cup had a floral aroma, with citrus acidity.
