Sensory Lab Bourke St

Most of us know Sensory Lab at Little Collins Street, but Sensory Lab Bourke Street, on level 1 of David Jones (Just near the Emporium) is a little more laid back, and surrounded by a plethora of women’s fashion labels. It’s been here for over two years, and has a more refined design, with a white tiled bar façade, and dark timber dining area with scattered greenery. They have a selection of pastries and cakes to enjoy with either espresso or filter coffee. Both the Steadfast and Seamless blend run through the Classic La Marzocco Linea, and today they even had a limited batch of the El Burro Gesha, from Panama. This wonderful washed processed gesha varietal was grown at around 1670 to 1825 meters above sea level in Alto Quiel, and had a floral aroma, with soft melon notes.
