“Normcore doesn’t want the freedom to become someone, it moves away from coolness that relies on difference…..’.
So apparently Normcore is a term coined by the New York trend forecasting group, K-Hole, and refers to a neutral style between normal and hardcore. It’s all about authenticity, and unpretentiousness, which is exactly how the owner of this Sydney CBD coffee bar, Nathan Lee, comes across.
Formerly at Pablo & Rusty, Nathan now displays his authentic coffee roasting style, and is backed up by a team that includes Korean Chanho Hong, who has won multiple awards in barista and brewing comps.
This friendly bunch were exceptionally hospitable, and extracted a Kenyan gem through the Black Eagle.
In my cup?
Grown at around 1800 meters above sea level, this washed SL 28/SL 34 had stone fruit acidity, with toffee sweetness.
