While in Barangaroo, I paid a visit to Coffee Alchemy’s little sibling, Micro.
Micro means a factor of one millionth. Its pretty small when you think about it, yet Hazel De Los Reyes (owner of Coffee Alchemy),  realises that all it takes to change the flavour of coffee, can potentially rests in a micro detail. From harvest, through to roasting, grinding, tamping, and finally extraction. Every element of every step is vital, in the final cups flavour.

Micro Barangaroo reminds us that that small changes can have massive consequences, and a small coffee, can create an epic experience. Such was the case on my visit.

In my cup?

Finca La Corazonada, Ecuador.

Grown at 1400 meters above sea level in the region of Ibarra, this washed Caturra had a floral aroma, and sweet lychee notes.
