Look who’s moved into Melbourne CBD!
Industry Beans launched their brand new concept cafe in Little Collins Street yesterday.
Officially named Industry Beans Lt. Collins, this fresh space is the next phase for the award winning roasters. It’s been carefully designed to allow for orderly flow from point of sale to coffee collection, with adequate standing room and bar with stools along the back wall.
They’ve done away with the typical espresso machine, and have installed a series of Modbar espresso systems, which not only improve workflow, but also remove any barriers dividing the barista and consumer. The process is theatrical and systematic, and is designed for increased efficiency during high volume periods. The Rose Street blend for milk based coffee, while single origin beans rotate weekly for black coffee. Filter coffee is also available, and brewed via batch brewers.
Current single origin options are the Ethiopian Hunda Oli as a batch brew, and Guatemalan Finca Santa Isabella for espresso.
You can beat the heat with an iced coffee, IB Bubble tea, house made juice, and kombucha.
The food menu has been designed by Head Chef James Sanders, and features Bagels, Bowls and Desserts such as the Vegan/Gluten Free/Dairy Free Coffee Cashew Cheesecake.
