With its Scandinavian inspired fit out –‘ Taste’ is definitely in the spotlight at this South Yarra café.
The interior is a blend of polished concrete, soft pastel tones, and lush greenery, giving the venue a feeling of sophistication.
The menu appeals to foodies with its (You guessed it!) tasty, delicious, and nutritious options. So do the beverage offerings, with coffee sourced from Toby’s Estate. Their house blend is a 50/50 Brazilian/Colombian blend, which packs a punch, while also having a sweet caramel finish.
The health focused menu features the aptly named ‘Smaked Pumpkin’ with lemon minted feta, mixed ancient grains & Edamame; the Salmon & Egg Roti with smoked Babaganoush, and Swiss cheese & herbs; and Waffle Benedict with orange braised ham hock, thyme sweet potato waffle, poached pears & yuzu hollandaise.
From the pretty little La Marzocco Linea machine on the main bar, to the aesthetically pleasing surrounds, ‘tasteful’ is the most appropriate way to describe Smak.
